Testimonials

At my first session with Madeline, she asked what my goals were.
I saw my mother in law, tiny lady, unable to step into the minivan, not enough strength. My father starting a battle with cancer. My husband beginning his journey into Parkinsons & Lewy Body Dementia.
I felt I needed to be physically preparing for the challenges ahead. Aging, caring, hurricanes, life.
I believe that was around 2016? It’s now 2023!
Over time workouts have constantly evolved, keeping me interested and challenged.
Working through physical slips and tweaks with so much knowledge.
What started for my physicality (& some vanity), has become essential to my mental well being. I’m so grateful!

I started training with Madeline two years ago. We meet 3x a week, and I have never missed a session. As a business owner and busy Mum, this alone speaks volumes. Her sessions are different every time, and tailored specifically to my needs. Madeline’s training has strengthened and rehabilitated me post shoulder surgery and helped me to lose pandemic pounds. Most importantly, the training keeps me balanced, mentally and physically. Without a doubt, the best investment I could have made in my self care and health maintenance.
I have more if needed!!!! Can’t speak highly enough of your positive impact on my world. Forever grateful

I began working with Madeline in 2019. At the time, I had no idea what a great decision that turned out to be. On the physical side, I’ve lost 40 lbs, decreased BMI, and increased overall muscle. My flexibility is greatly increased and has helped me overcome several chronic pain issues with my back. But Madeline isn’t just about the physical benefits— she challenges your thinking! She guides you through mental obstacles to achieve the great physical benefits. Additionally, she is a lot of fun! Somehow, even when my brain is tired and my muscles fatigued, I will still find myself laughing and thoroughly enjoying the whole session.

I highly recommend working with her if you have the opportunity!

I was asked the following questions by Madeline when we began our journey
What are your stated goals?
What are your eating, sleeping habits and what hurts?
Will you commit?
My goals were and continue to be tone, balance and strength. Three years into it my left knee has healed after surgery although my right knee is now giving me heck, I find I am stronger overall which in turn helps with the balance, my muscles are more defined slowly toning years of neglect. I look forward to my class never knowing what the theme, pace or intensity will be as no two classes have ever been the same. Talk about keeping your interest. The beginning of every class is a positive greeting followed by the standard query- what hurts and what did you eat last night. It appears not to be just a series of exercises but a formula prescribed like a doctor. After analyzing data the strategy is in play to push performance and endurance and an evaluation is probably noted. There is an integration of Yoga, basic stretching and breathing, which I have done for years, that is interjected randomly during the months, apparently exactly when I need it more than I know.
We began in person and as with 2020 all things changed. I initially doubted whether I would be long term as zoom or facetime are not favorite action activities of mine. I am fine with it and appreciate the mobility of it for travel. Nothing was lost. Madeline has a wonderful sense of humor, a strong leader like manner, is stellar in being human and luckily we connect on many levels which is good because its early, its raw and there’s no make up. I like the sharing it’s a bonus it shows caring.
